About the escape room
"Das Musikhaus" ("The House of Music"): The luxurious Conservatory of the famous Austrian conductor Franz Weber, in the center of Vienna, was known for training top musicians. Only students with a natural talent for music were accepted to study... Weber was an authority in the field of Music, strict and authoritarian, he conducted the largest orchestras of that era while also teaching at the Conservatory... However, behind the imposing blackboards, the huge stave and the beautiful melodies, another dark face of Weber was hidden, a face that was cruel and violent... The music of the Conservatory fell silent forever after that night in April 1945... Soviet troops had encamped in the Austrian capital and the entire city was now in complete confusion... The bombings that followed in the following days leveled the whole of Vienna, and the Conservatory with it... "True history is made of the silence of the dead." Note: The story deals with historical events and contains symbolisms from World War II.

AI Overview

AIMost rave about the set, atmosphere, and acting, citing a strong historical core that unfolds clearly. The cut-scenes and sound/lighting elevate the immersion. Puzzles are seen as fair but relatively simple, with very good flow. Some find the sound overly loud and the horror elements a bit “pasted on” to an otherwise logical narrative.
WeaknessesFor some, the sound is too strong too early, leaving little room for escalation. The horror isn’t always convincingly justified within the narrative. Experienced puzzlers may find the puzzles easy.
StrengthsGorgeous set and direction, with seamless transitions and solid dramaturgy. Excellent actors and a strong historical message. The experience is so cohesive that it flows without pulling you out of the story.
SecurityThere are no specific mentions of safety briefings. No one reported safety issues or unpleasant incidents.
Level of fearMore cinematic tension with jump scares than pure horror. Potentially intense for small children or the very sensitive, but comfortable for teens and adults who aren’t chasing horror.
Actors' gameActing is hailed as top-tier, with strong, well-timed interventions that drive the plot. Interaction is meaningful and gives pulse to every space.
Quality of riddlesClean, logical puzzles, nicely integrated into the environment. The flow is velvety and hints are rarely needed. More accessible than “hardcore,” ideal for narrative-first teams.
PlotA dark story in a conservatory set against the backdrop of World War II, full of symbolism and emotion. It unfolds clearly and peaks with substance, without cheap tricks.
Difficulty levelLow to medium, with emphasis on flow and emotion. Very experienced players might find it easy, but will appreciate the cohesion.
