"Das Musikhaus" ("The House of Music"): The luxurious Conservatory of the famous Austrian conductor Franz Weber, in the center of Vienna, was known for training top musicians. Only students with a natural talent for music were accepted to study... Weber was an authority in the field of Music, strict and authoritarian, he conducted the largest orchestras of that era while also teaching at the Conservatory... However, behind the imposing blackboards, the huge stave and the beautiful melodies, another dark face of Weber was hidden, a face that was cruel and violent... The music of the Conservatory fell silent forever after that night in April 1945... Soviet troops had encamped in the Austrian capital and the entire city was now in complete confusion... The bombings that followed in the following days leveled the whole of Vienna, and the Conservatory with it... "True history is made of the silence of the dead."
